Love this team! We need more!

This team still needs an identity. Yes we are becoming known to play fast.  However, we need more than BB17. We need some offensive players that can actually scare defensive coordinators.  We are not getting enough production from our WR/TE/RB.  Someone needs to start making the defense pay, going fast doesn't matter if we can not get into the endzone.  However, I do not see anyone on offense that is going to scare opponents allowing them to continue to play to take BB17 runs away.  This is why we can not score inside the 20.

 

I wonder if these coaching staffs actually ever show these guys film from our "Glory" days.  Since 2015 we have only had 5 players get drafted into the NFL,  and from 2001 until 2015 we had 21.  Most of these players were on defense and seeing their names made me really think how much of an impact those guys had on opposing teams.  Maybe it is coaching and scheme, and I think our defense is improved, but we got zero pressure on CAM last night.  We couldn't do anything to impose to impose our will.  We simply just hung on the best we could.

We are building from winning four games from three seasons, We won 7 last season. We still have a conference to finally win. We are working to get better.

All good points.  We have a long way to go still, but we are seeing progress/improvement in level of play.  We still have a lot to learn about this team and coaches.

The OCS will provide a lot of new revenue.

Coach Golesh inherited the same type of situation that Coach Taggart did in my opinion. 1 and 1/4 seasons in and there is definite improvement with this team. Once depth is built we're going to be **** good.

Gotta remember, this is still a building & revision stage of the project. Don't make too much out of a .500 season after three abysmal seasons. The next eight games are the barometer.

playing fast and getting dumb  penalties is counter productive

only atkins got separation consistently. something is wrong 

brown doesnt read defenses well and when he does he reacts too slow

I think USF just hasn't had enough time to shake off the bad athletics juju for the almost 50 years I was hanging around the campus.  Just look at the effect I have had on football in North Carolina since moving up here.  I am hopeful the Bulls can shed the foul aroma of the jinx stinx soon.
