I know it’s still early in his tenure but Golesh needs to show he can beat teams over .500 at this point.

We can still win our conference, it’s all in front of us. The way I see it; Bama was bigger and stronger than us and Miami was just flat out faster. It’s to be expected playing top 10, P4 schools. The biggest concern with the defense that I seen was tackling, they’ve been bad all year. I think we have the talent and coaches to win the AAC, but not if we don’t tackle. As far as I see it, the only team that can beat us from here on out, is ourselves. Let’s tighten up the tackling and win this thing!!

Please stop trying to figure out what went wrong or to what extent we were outmatched (definitely wouldn’t say outclassed). There is one thing that we can attribute to our on field performance…….THE process. We fix the process, we can’t lose. It’s impossible. My apologies, sarcasm is how I get through tough times.

I am a little surprised at the negativity.  I wasn't surprised by the outcome or the score (I had a blowout predicted on the other thread) but that was more about Miami and less about USF.  Golesh has had ONE year of recruiting and building his culture.  You can't judge a coach until he has a full set of recruiting classes.  Instant gratification throws common sense out the window. 

I thought USF did some good things in the first half, and similar to Alabama, the game kind of got away from them.  No shame in that.  I think the expectations are inflated.

R-E-L-A-X.  USF will be fine.  Just give it some time.

I will say that watching Cam Ward on some of those play action, rpo type plays, he was smooth on some of those. There was one that faked the hell out of the defense where he turned to his right to fake the handoff then hit the WR on a bubble screen to his left.

The stud qb appears to lack arm talent. His accuracy is horrible! He can't hit open receivers and his passes are often 10 yards or more off the mark. Yes, we need better receivers; however, if Brown could have hit the ones we do have when they were open, maybe we are 3-1 or 4-0. Most of his passing yards come from short passes that the receivers gain big yards after the catch.

I have not seen anything in Brown that tells me that he is a stud qb. And, in my opinion, he is the reason why, more than any other position, we have two losses.

We did about as well as could be expected we hanged for a half and then we lost in the 2nd no big shocker...nobody outside here expected us to have a shot in this game. 

Get a few more recruiting classes and we will be a much improved team that might have a shot vs a big name ranked team.

I think we now could take down some of the weaker ranked teams.... we aren't ready for the legit playoff teams for sure.
