Miami and Bama are going to be in the CFP 

I'm upset too but the rational part of my brain (the small part) knows that these 2 losses are unreasonable measuring sticks for this team right now. 

Let's see what the Tulane game looks like. 5 games into the season that's the first game where we're evenly matched with our opponent.

This year we need to focus on winning the AAC and developing our passing game.  We need to hit the portal hard in the offseason.  Next year, we have a better path to the playoffs. Cam Ward will be in the NFL. UF will be breaking in a new coach. Good thing about this season, CAG and Byrum Brown is safe from being poached.

Watching in-person the difference seemed to be the passing game. UM WRs created separation consistently and their QB delivered.

They are safe from being poached, however would like for them not to be this safe.  We are dinged up, beaten up and now we go to NOLA for an early game.  We may get rolled, 50 plus like a UAb or FAU debacle.  The true testament of what Golesh has got will be evident next week.

I think we can win this conference still. 2 losses against 2 CFP teams. 

That's a solid season. 

Oh and a good bowl game.

Agree the conference is up for grabs. Memphis and Tulane aren’t world beaters, Navy maybe tougher than first thought. We go win those and take care of biz. 
 

oof if we start 1-3 next year the meltdowns will be insane.

We start 1-3 next year, most would have already melted down and simply faded away
