If Tulane and Memphis go, our hand will be forced. We must go at that point. The other programs we would be joining would help elevate a path back to P4. It will be the strongest G5 by a long shot. If we stay in AAC while the others leave we are doomed.

Forgot the to include the forecasted AAC revenue after the 2026 look-in…can’t be baselining PAC against todays revenue structure

if you’ve lost the top half your conference, do you lose half (or more) your current revenue? Seems possible.

True, should be factored in before deciding.

Depends on if Memphis, Tulane, and USF move together, and on the PAC media deal and GOR or exit penalties.

i guess i cant talk ****. they’ve won the conference & a Cotton Bowl & we havent.

OTOH, we are a former BCS/Power Conference school with wins over SEC, ACC, B1G & BIGXII teams.

not something Janet would sing about in 2024, but USF has proven it can be competitive week in & week out with a P5 schedule & P5 recruiting. no reason USF cant do it again.

& boy if this Miami game doesnt feel more like a natural rivalry than anything with Florida Central.
