It will be a tough battle in the trenches. Oline is Cristobal's speciality.  Dude won  championships at Miami as a player and bounced around professional and semiprofessional before coaching. He is all about recruiting, coaching, and beefing up both lines. Golesh has the same views, but he wasn't nearly as talented as a player.

We had maybe two 300Ib players on the d-line during the CCS & CJS era. That was Pickney  & Kegler who in my eyes weren't that effective. That is why we were always getting gashed. I think many forgot how small our defensive lines to be.

Great match up.

The other side of the trenches is where we will sink or swim. Our Oline needs to HARDEN THE **** UP on the pass protection. CMON BOYS LFFFGGGG

We have 5 starters that are 5th/6th year Grad players. There is no reason for them to not be better.

This is super helpful in realizing that if we were able to keep up w bama we can definitely battle Miami

Miami has a better DL than Bama, IMO. The trick is stopping them from being able to rotate players by playing at the frantic pace we usually play with.

That's scary because we couldn't do much and kept running up the middle into a mass of people.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
