Agree with everything there. My only point was beating UM will always be great but if you don't follow that performance up with winning a conference title it'll take a little glimmer off ....... but let's get the win first and worry about having to build off it after.

If we win an aac championship without the Miami win it won’t matter when all is said and don’t either, the Miami win is a bigger nothing that people will remember. No one reminisces about wins over UTSA just because some attached a trophy as a gift with purchase in a sad attempt to make it appealing.

Is it though? I mean, there comes a time when you have accepted the numbers for what they are.  It's not like we've spent the past thirteen years setting the world on fire. Overall, since then we are 64 - 92 with four winning seasons, eight losing seasons and one break even (not counting this season as we're only three games in). I wouldn't say disgusting, so much as not unexpected.

Yes, just because that’s more disgusting doesn’t make that any less disgusting. FCS teams were having top 25 wins in that span.
