UCF, Cincy had these type of wins and earned their way to the Big 12.

Hopefully we get a brand new start in the Pac, and  we can find that fire again that we had when we joined the Big East. 

Notre dame is **** compared to Bama and Miami... UCF/Cinci did not have those wins that i can recall outside of bowl games. Boise has been good forever.

i must have missed it when ucf beat a top 10 team in the regular season. or when they even had one scheduled, let alone two...

WE got shut up again just like the 14,000 plus students that got tickets for the game. The more things th change and the more they stay the same post Leavitt.

I dont want to defend UCF but those BCS bowl wins are quality wins that earned them a call up to the Big 12. Cincy was ranked in the top 4 and went to the playoffs. 

Its the  type of wins we probably would need if we want to get into the ACC barring it totally collapsing

My point is that we don't have to shoot ourselves in the foot by trying to play teams like Alabama in the regular season. If we have a team good enough to meet those types of teams in the playoff, then we'll meet them there.

ucf got ahead by scheduling a weak regular season and winning when they were supposed to. along with two big bowl wins along the way, when they were ready to take on better teams. One (Auburn) that was not very excited to be in a bowl game against ucf.
