I imagine most Canes fans are waiting to get clearance to travel up to Hillsborough County from their probation officers, so that might be a reason for delayed sales as well.

And the third level is open on the west side for the excess students plus $35 and $50 tickets for non-students!

I could be wrong, but maybe more people would go if the "cheap tickets" weren't $50.

$35 is still too rich for most people for something that they can get on their big screen at home for free. Upper deck tickets should be $20, if we want people to actually show up.

Open up both sides and offer $10 tickets. Hell, might take a loss but the perception right now would be worth it. I guess with stadium cost thats unrealistic but would be cool.

Student tickets, which are provided free to the 50,000 students enrolled at the University's campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg and Sarasota, were first made available Friday morning and saw a record of 13,179 claimed in the first 24 hours. That shattered the old mark of 8,409 claimed in 24 hours for South Florida's battle with No. 10 Alabama last year, a game that saw more than 10,000 total student ticket claims
