F this game.  Worst one I've been to since BYU.  First half was fun but we don't have the jimmies, Joes or X and Os down by the goal line.

A few "glass half full points to add on here( and there are only a few) *we need CAG to stay here for 5 years. The way the ESPN broadcasters were talking about CAG was alarming. It's like they're his public relations team, and I'm sure major programs were taking notice. However one thing this shellacking did was cool those AD's on him a little. If that lessens the competition and keeps him here longer that's a big +.

* CAG said there were 209 potential recruits at the game(200!). We put on a great atmosphere in the stadium, and at least the first half we played them pretty much even. Only so many players can go to Miami. I think a lot of those students see the trajectory for the Bulls and are excited about it- especially with the downturns at Florida and FSU. 

*The times this morning says that brown is fine and will be ready to go next week at Tulane. Our entire season rests on his shoulders, so this is HUGE! 

*Our team is now battle tested for a very tough Tulane team.  If Bama and Miami raised our game so we can beat Tulane & Memphis I consider that a win( Bama is on an NFL level and Miami is a top 5 team, so....not yet).

I agree with what's been said about the crowd.  People were up and yelling for defense on every down until we were down by 7.  Then the balloon popped, and people barely clapped on third downs.

I am a USF fan and have been since day one. Prior to the pandemic never missed a home game and did away games every year and all the bowls except the one in Canada including  long drive to El Paso forthe Sun Bowl, I left with less than a half a quarter left after being  hit by beer and popcorn from the Canes fans in the box above us, and yes  we had security go up there at least 3 times, but ok tell me I’m not a fan because I left a few minutes early. I have no voice this morning from screaming during the game and clapping so hard that my watch “ detected a hard fall and wanted to call 911

The team didn’t give the fans anything to clap for. 
 

once we went down 7, 

then down 14

then down 21

then down 28,

then down 35… 

 

Also an easy missed FG somewhere in there. 

No big turnovers or stops to cheer for.

no TDs. 
 

that’s why the fans went quiet.
