Is it possible that when a QB is talking to his coach about not entering the portal, he is promised not to be taken out of games  the following season to be able to continue to pad stats?

Just looking for a reason…

Seems like an avoidable and unnecessary injury risk. Especially with the U coming to the bay next week. Vitory formation run out the clock then punt. Put in the second strind defense and let them have fun.
