You are inked  and branded as a abull to death my friend.

I mean I’m not going to give up my memories or find a new relationship, sometimes the beauty of something is because it’s fleeting. Every time we get passed over a part of my interest dissipates and if we rebuild the aac again I’m pretty sure those going to be just the smallest kernel of interest left. Natures first green is gold her hardest bull to hold. Her early conference BCS but only so an hour, then BEAST subsides to AAC, so USF fandom sank to grief, nothing gold can stay.

You better not move on.  Your one of my favorite reads at TBP.

It’s the sunken dollar fallacy, at some point I will need to recognize that the investment is gone and it’s not healthy for anyone to drone on about it.

Some people have been able to redefine success and that’s great for them but I’m never going to be satisfied until I get the better I was promised. The next time we get passed over I fear I will go from bitter sweet musings that at least make me laugh to just bitter and angry rumblings that will annoy me as much as everyone else.

That’s not a good look, people would be right it brings nothing to the table and I don’t want to be that person (not from selflessness but because that’s bringing nothing to my life either). I’d rather leave with happy and fond memories of which I have more than i could ever have hoped to have gotten.

College football is supposed to be fun, aac football has never been fun for me and never will be, we may get left behind again but I won’t be. I hope to have egg on my face and eat crow every day about VPMK but if not I’m not going to be here to give a single I told you so.

Still feel the same and I’d love to know how anyone is possibly seeing something that I’m missing, I think any confusion comes from the perspective of good when looking at it from the starting point of historically bad. CAG can chew gum and walk so he looks amazing next to CJS who couldn’t do much of anything but great at anything adult people as a general rule probably don’t chew gum very often. CAG moved the needle from garbage failed out of coaching to average which is a fantastic accomplishment, he has some improvements to get to good but when he does that’s his ceiling.

The belief that CAG is the savior because he beat some trash football teams last year is astonishing. The people that compare his success to Abdur-rahim baffle me.

Last year was a nice little turn around, but this program is much further from competing in the AAC than many on here want to believe. We are not winning this conference this year.

We have a long way to go, and I'm not sure we will ever get there. Just sad.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
