Quitting by kicking the field goal is inexcusable to me.  That whole red zone sequence was awful.

 

I get it that we cleaaaarly can't throw the ball but for goodness sake have a trick play up ur sleeve.

I just don’t see the point at all, people can make all the excuse they’d like, but they are just rationalizing a culture of failure.

The series in the zone was awful, the game plan and team prep was awesome, end of the day, love the dude.

I feel so many positive things were undone in the fourth quarter.

Kicking a FG to be LOSING by 5 points against #4 team that is BAMA is sorry ass call.

Not cool. Still love coach but what a ***** move.

If you kick the FG with expectation that defense will stop them then you have to believe that the defense will stop them going 97 yards if you don't make it.

This a million times over.  Having Bama scared of turning the ball over, on their 4, actually helps on defense (if you don't convert)

Instead you quit, and *coincidentally* the entire team quits immediately after, and the whole night is a waste.  Nobody cares about losing 42 to whatever.  We can get Jeff Scott back if we want more *just one bad quarter* but otherwise a close game.

Goach is still my guy. I am not going to question a guy who made us competitive against the #4 team in the nation. A few years ago when we had Charlie Strong or Jeff Scott the game were usually over by the first quarter. We were not even competitive with those guys.

Yes, and I love the guy however those 3 play calls were ass, either way , next week peeps

It was a head-scratcher because the 3 didn't matter, they would still need a TD to win the game.
