Got absolutely creamed tonight

4 to 1

Seattle University

Looked like they couldn't have cared less about the game or being out there

Gave up a SC Top 10 goal with 4 seconds left

I guess someone didn't get the message from VPMK about the expectations and urgency to win

I agree that they didn't look the sharpest tonight, but they also were playing without their top forward and lead scorer (Jalen Anderson) from last year. It looked like, from 2023 rankings, the number #84 (USF) overall team playing the #33 (Seattle). Definitely a lot to work on before the next game though.

We used to be a pretty decent futbol school. Both men’s and women’s teams seem to be slumping the last few years. The boys better pick it up

Doesn't explain letting in 4 goals. That's on the defense.

Women got blown out in their opener 5-0 also. Bounced back the next game but man losing stinks.

I agree with you on that and like I said, quite a bit to work on before the next game. Just am saying that 4-1 against the number 23 team in game one isn't the end of the world. If they keep playing the way they did for the rest of the season then it's a different story.

I appreciate the optimism

Looking at the scores for the games the guys just looked stoic and apathetic, and Seattle U looked hungry and wanted it

I don't know what needs to happen but at the very least the boys need to wake up
