Started off here a Thursday, landed in SLC early friday morning to crowdstrike, impossible to get a connection, impossible to get a hotel, waited for the SkyClub to open at 4:45 was able to shower, eventually got moved to Oakland after my 4 or 5 sfo cancelled, spent a couple of nights is Napa, sfo more delays, end up in Atl, last flight cancelled at 2:30 am called 20 hotels found one and eventually was able to leave around 12:30 pm. Fun times.

This really isn't an age thing so you should be good. I have a disorder when it comes to flying and time concerns. If it was just Mrs Trip and me wouldn't be as big a concern but it's a once a year family thing and melding schedules to get it done is a ******* nightmare so any glitch is not appreciated.

My bad Trips, was not aware and understand completely.  It is easy to say let it go however always much harder to actually let it go. Hoping you a safe and happy travels.

Trust me, I get it. Doing other things now that 20 years ago I was wondering what in the hell were those old fogies doing ............. proudly though, still never have succumbed to the 4:30 Early Bird dinner specials.

With or without that software screwup, almost every trip we've taken in the last 5 years has involved some kind of delay or cancellation. Worse when you are traveling for work but not a lot of fun even when it is supposed to be vacay.
