Was able to get in a game last night and beat Navy 56 - 31. I experimented with some things when the score was 49-17 and it didn't work out so well.

I did move Echols up to the depth chart to #1 TE. I hadn't really used him at all until last night and he is excellent.

Are there, I guess, odd depth chart changes that improve the team play? I usually sort by overall and sometimes ACC/speed.

Wow you reminded me.  I had Echols win TE of the year.  He was one of my best players in 2025.  Totally dominant catching the ball, running routes and was a mismatch.  Unfortunately, I didn't understand the depth charts.  He was stuck at FB for much of the next year (I run a lot of I formation) and transferred out due to playing time or playing style or something.  Just make sure to go in to the depth charts if he gets moved out of the #1 TE slot!  I know this sounds dumb, but he was listed as #1 TE and I couldn't figure out why he was on the field until I started punching it in with the FB.  I should have thrown the 3rd deep TE into FB.  🤣

Other depth chart things I got burned on is the SLWR, which can steal your fastest guy, and the 3DRB which auto subs in on those nice gun weak formations that have those sweeps.  I like to make this a fast RB, or make sure to manually sub out my power beast RBs on the sweeps.

Also since you reminded me of Echols, a major reason why I went deep in the playoffs in year two and won the championship in BB's senior year was a transfer RB named CJ Baxter.  It just occurred to me that this is a real person:

In a parallel universe, this guy becomes a USF legend.

Not sure how much, if any, it improves the team.

I noticed Echols is a better receiving threat than Wolff, so that is why I made the change.

Agreed!  Echols is fantastic in the game.  Total game breaker.  I remember him being a size mismatch as well and catches everything.

Been a busy week at work and got a few games in tonight for the first time in a couple days. On the last one I finally decided to bump up to Heisman. O line sucked in pass protection and I threw more picks than I had all season. Run game still strong. Most competitive game in a while but beat Air Force 42-17. The Bulls are joining the SEC next season in my dynasty as far as I’m concerned.

Once they allow cross platform online dynasties I’m ready to treat TBP dynasty like it’s TBP Keeper League.

Issoc, Winton, Porter, and Smith all turn into monsters in the game. On defense Hamilton, Zavier, and Hill turn into some solid LBS.

I'm a big Alvon Isaac fan. I always make him RB1 when I go into exhibition games with USF. I also put JeyQuan Smith in the slot. 98 speed...I had 4 TD passes to him and like 257 yards receiving on like 5 catches. He's insane.

Also, is anyone else finding zone runs are absolute dog $h!t in game? Lately I can't run inside or outside zone. I'm basically focusing on Iso, dive, power, etc. Seems like, no matter the opponent, the inside/outside zone is automatically OP'd by the opposing DT. I'm guessing it might be a glitch because I didn't notice it before, but dudes are getting blown up on those runs for me now.

Was able to get through the rest of the 2025 season over the weekend. Undefeated regular season, AAC Championship win over #17 FAU, and a Heisman for Byrum.

I guess the bias against the AAC reared its ugly head at the end of the season. I was ranked #3 going into the last week against UAB. I blew them out and dropped to #4. Dropped to #5 after winning the conference championship, so I have a first round game against USC with the winner playing Georgia.
