I have a feeling EA is milking this for all they can and next year it will be on everything.

Flexbone again last night against Rice. 42-7 win. Dominated TOP. The developers didn't lie when they said the option is back this year. 45 carries between 5 difference ball carriers. Byrum was 14 for 67 and a TD, K'Wann was 13 for 50 and a TD, Ta'ron was 9 for 75 and a TD, Alvon Isaac was 8 for 41 and fake-ass Nay'Quan Wright aka "Chris Lamb" was 1 for 1 and TD from the goaline.

Not entirely sure about this, but I think we may be able to do dynasty setups where one person picks OC and the other person picks DC for the same team.

Testing out that theory tonight and I will report back.

Running the ball has been easier for me. Passing game has improved over the past few. The stack formation is really good for passing.

Agreed on all counts!  Running the ball is fantastic.

Also learning the pass protections by pressing L1 helped me with passing.  You can have the HB stay in and block on certain plays, do half slides, assign double teams, etc.  It's helped me when getting blitzed or there is an extra guy threatening...

Running is where it's at this year IMVHO. I played some games with Iowa just to see if you can run pro-style, heavy run, 12 personnel and ****! I went for over 300 yards on Minnesota. I still like the flexbone/wishbone more though. Mainly b/c I can still confidently throw 10-15 passes a game and get big yardage on the limited passing b/c the formations just scream "RUN" to the adaptive AI in the game.

I mean, you can run flex literally all game. The A-Backs are always a threat to run up the seams or run drag routes or they could be in motion on a wingback dive, option play, etc. I hope the developers don't nerf it.

Haven’t thrown a pick on an RPO because you have to pass pretty quickly.

Is there a button you press to let the routes develop more before passing?

I haven't yet, but that is because I kind of go by a really simple rule. If the RPO is doubles or trips and I have 1 more receiver than I see defender to the RPO side, it's an automatic pass for me. The other WRs will have enough blocking to stop the DBs from jumping a route. If the DBs match or outnumber the WRs, then it's an automatic give for me.

There isn't but you wouldn't want to wait too long anyway b/c the game will call you for illegal man downfield if you don't throw right away.
