Bats were fine this year outside of a few games the pitching showed up and they didn't. That is normal for any team to have bad games at the plate or on the mound. The problem  is pitching was horrible all year outside of a few nice starts or relief appearances. You aren't going to win many games 38th a team era of 5.96: unless the bats are on their a game.

Meh, ucf lost several guys last year when they let Lovelady go and they're back in the tournament this year.

I wouldn't lose sleep over any guys on the current roster entering the portal.

Other than Manriquez, each of those other guys are solid players and a loss.   But everyone is replaceable.   New coach will come in and shape his team

Was gonna add some version of both your messages. The right coach will bring hype and connections. If you're losing guys from a team that underperformed, it's not necessarily the end of the world.

Snow is the only one off that list we will miss long term. Hopefully the new coach talks him into staying. All the new coach has to do to be a major improvement is not be at the bottom of the AAC is year one and go 0.500 .

Recruit a bunch of Tampa-area kids, give them lots of playing time as freshmen, and let’s get this thing turned around. Jesuit, Wesley Chapel, Bloomingdale and Northside Christian all reached the State final four in their classifications. Plenty of local talent we should be tapping every year. The roster should be filled with kids from Tampa Bay area down through Sarasota.
