I couldn't.  I also can't hear them as well in their new spot at Ray Jay.  I miss the corner spot they were in before. Or just mic them up.

New On-Campus Stadium Rendering Highlights Student Section - USF Athletics

South Florida's on-campus stadium's west side will be exclusively for students.

The west side of the stadium will also include a landing for an in-game disc jockey to entertain South Florida fans

Adjacent to the student section, on the north side, a field-level section will serve as the Herd of Thunder's game day headquarters. Like students, the marching band will have a dedicated section on the lower level for easy access to the field for pregame and halftime performances.
 
The south side of the stadium – the home side –will feature seats for season ticket holders who will enjoy shade from the press box tower during daytime games.

Remember, the H.O.T. originally was located on the visiting side in RJS. They only moved to their current location because of how much they have grown.

That thought crossed my mind - the band takes up nearly a full section now. The rendering looks quite cramped for our entire band. Will they be able to fit completely in that section? Might be a stupid question, so my apologies if my gauge is wrong with that rendering.

We were on the 40 and couldn’t hear them. Heard the opposing fans from the other side of the stadium a couple of times early in the game but in general sound did not amplify well in their stadium at all. It was somewhat loud in the USF section itself because the metal stands were being stomped on, causing thundering noise but not sure how that came across in the rest of the stadium.

It is still a rendering and may not be to exact scale.

I love the idea of the shaded areas and standing room only sections.  The question is: how can we get student tickets for the standing room only sections?
