Which game is that?  We play AT Miami next time.  Louisville is coming in 2027 I guess.  Florida A&M will probably sell out.  UCONN never moves the needle.  2029 Notre Dame I imagine they can play somewhere else?  Or not it's one game.  So I am seeing one big home game in the next 6 years unless Louisville or someone becomes hot.

USF Jeff!!

He was the GK for the Portland Timbers when I lived out there - was so cool to have a Bull on the home team. He's a pretty good ambassador of USF/Tampa sports.

I think his point about a big game being on campus was more general than literal.

I believe he meant a game of this magnitude.

It will be a much better atmosphere when  on campus.

Have to GTFO of this conference; otherwise, that stadium won’t be filled. If nothing changes, think there’s going to be a reality check for those putting their faith in the announced attendance numbers (I.e. average game in new stadium will be a sellout). Not rooting for it, just a realist.

However, we can not allow any Power 4 team + Notre Dame to dictate that they will only play us at Ray Jay.

If our big games are moved to Ray Jay I  wouldn't see the point of having an OCS.

I think the point is for the big name 1 for 2's, getting paid $1.5 to $2 mil for the third game at their house means we have to kind of agree to their terms for the single game in Tampa town.  I'm afraid otherwise, these premier 1 for 2's will disappear in the future.

I guess it depends on what the contract states.

If not, i bet it gets canceled. That is going to be an interesting thing to keep an eye on. Will big name teams continue to do the 3 game series with us with at 35-40k seat stadium.

Notre Dame won't cancel this game since we will be in the B1G (or... ACC).

Notre Dame commands a unique power in the market place, along with a few other brands in college football

They play in neutral site games all the time with bigger brands than USF

Look at GT / Notre Dame in the whateverdome

This happens all the time in college football, it will happen when we get an OCS

Now, some brands like Iowa State or South Carolina... no, you come to campus.
