Since there’s not a lot of stadium updates, I was looking at Oregon State’s Reser Stadium and I see a lot of similarities to our new stadium. Theirs is 35,000 capacity and very similar construction after their impressive remodel. This looks more impressive than UAB and North Texas.

Edit: Also, guess who their architect is….. 👀

Looks nice, how much did it cost? Nothing special,  but a decent looking small stadium.

USF is too busy giving out extensions to get us those renderings.

The renovation was $161 million.

The remodeled west side opens in one month for the Beavers' 2023 season...

Love the open concourse on the new home side.  Ours should look almost exactly like that behind the first level.

Went to Rice-Eccles stadium where the Utes play for a Luke Combs concert this weekend. Absolutely nothing special about that place. Exposed beams, no levels, bench seating minus a few sections in the middle and seemed tiny for 50k.

Made me feel better about what USF is doing.

Utah doesn't care that Oregon State has a better stadium, though they went from the MWC to the B12. Utah Stadium is your typical college stadium. The Oregon State stadium looks better, but they are probably now stuck in a non-power conference when the Pac2 dies off after this year if it doesn't expand. I don't think any power conferences really care about what your stadium looks like. I think they care more about what your record is over a period of time, your fan base, your donor base, your TV market, and what your TV viewership is. I would trade UTAH stadium and power conference anyday for the Oregon State/USF Stadium in a non power conference.
