I used to stay out til 3am in Ybor during my younger days. I remember how chaotic the scene would get after all the clubs & bars closed. There were tons of people hanging out. Tons of drunks starting fights. I realized that leaving the ciub/bars an hour or two seemed to always be better with less drama. I listened to some of those 911 calls and it was very chaotic. I can’t imagine how traumatic it has been to just about everyone that was around. I pray for all.

where was it alleged that they were open carrying? Concealed carry is legal. If the gun was concealed and they pulled out out in self defense that is legal.

The  convicted violent felon, who was out on bail for sex crimes against a minor under 12 from a few a  months , was carrying a gun illegally, and murdered someone.  I would assume being out at hookah bar that probaly serves alcohol was a violation of his bail and parole. People are dead and hurt because the guy keeps getting out of jail and committing violent crimes.

I guess we will never know one way or the other, the point that I am trying to make is if you are holding (concealed or open) and approach a thug late night, bad things can happen.  It is a tragedy regardless when some don’t value life and will kill people with little to no regard.   Last thought on this, not easy to conceal completely in mid May in South Florida without some people noticing and could have contributed to the shooting.  Either way all the talk in the world isn’t going to change this serious of sad events.

This is the biggest issue but there is little appetite for holding people accountable nowadays.

Society is too numb to it.  There are cities out there in way worse shape and they are still quadrupling down.  I don't have any hope that this will change or people will wake up in the foreseeable future.

I don't think you want to he associated or financially support a guy that is convicted of beating a pregnant woman, is out on a bail for sexually assault and battering a minor under 12, and now killing people.
