I just got off the phone with Oliver and he told me that he is NOT committed to USF.  I read him the article and he still says hes not committed.  The article has quotes from his coach, who obviously thinks he is, but jimmy told me hes not done thinking it over.

Sort of ridiculous on both sides.  Josh calls him on the eve of his big decision and he's a bit undecided again.  He calls him an hour later and he's probably back in the fold.

This hyper-sensitive super recruiting is getting to be a joke.  His coaches comments were extremely deliberate, as if they came from Jimmy's mouth.  Naturally on the eve of his big decision he probably got some calls from other schools that are trying to sway his decision.  Expect our staff to call and set things straight.

I find this recruiting to funny to imagine.  UF's recruits the moment they verbal to Urban seem to take on some crazy folklore status, anyone that gives say Pupello four stars needs to learn how to evaluate talent, ditto for Bryan Thomas....very good athletes, someday players, but we've got to be on an even playing field.  Recruiting websites call Daron Rose and seem to ignore any of his references to USF, but man if the kid even sniffs UF they put it all over the nation and make him a UF lean.  Nevermind the fact Rose grew up an FSU fan.

Dexter McCluster takes a visit and everyone makes him a soft verbal on scout.com, Javarris James openly tells the world that he's looking and he's still firm with Miami.  However Miami probably has 20X's the fans registered with scout.com then USF- get the picture.  By the way, I'd take McCluster over just about every RB coming out of FL this year with Spillers as the only exception.

We're going to lose some, and USF is probably going to sign from 27-30.  That comes from Leavitt's mouth, 2 will count against last year's class, and the remainder will move forward with maybe 1 or 2 sign and places or green shirts.  The team has 75 rostered scholarship players, and is losing 14 scholarship seniors.... There's still alot of great talent out there considering USF, and some surprises too.  We're fine, and probably 90% of what's committed will stay that way.
