I’m not arguing for Georgia. I’m looking at the argument that they are just choosing the four best teams. Is there an argument that Georgia isn’t one of the four best teams?

I'm with you, just slot the playoffs based on preseason polls but with 6 spots each for Big 10 and SEC.
