none of this stuff is hard. (1) call plays other than run up the middle or screen to atkins, (2) when you inherit the last place defense in the country, you recruit good defensive players versus a bunch of tight ends that ride the bench a lot

Pass defense is what we know it is and the offense always goes through a lull. Pretty predictable. When it was 14-14, I said we’ll finish the half down 28-14. Bingo. Right where we are. They score to open the second half - turn out the lights. One question: with all the 5/6/7 year guys on UTSA’s roster, is this year their last hurrah?

We don't have anyone that can get outside.  We do run it outside ... it just goes for a 3 yard loss

Even my wife who has no clue about football made that observation last week ha. Had no good answer...it's what we do.

7th year is a joke. Guys going into college at 18 and finishing up at 25.
