We need to be as obsessed with beating each opponent as they seem to be obsessed with beating us. Are we getting out passioned or out enthusiasmed? Seems like we don’t have enough fire in our athletics department to elect a pope, let alone get our engines running full speed.

I wouldn't call it a breakout game for them. They had two big passing plays of 59 and 41 yards. Eliminate those two plays and they would have had only 115 yards passing. If our defense can play the way that we know they are capable of playing and eliminate mistakes and big plays, I think we will be fine! They also had a fumble recovery that they returned 50 yards for a touchdown. If we can keep from making the same mistakes Rice made and giving up big plays, we will win this game!!

It would be nice to pay that Homecoming beating we took forward to UConn. Children’s Harbor game and now a Homecoming, that should be poster board material for the team. Go earn some respect.

They're gonna be hungry for a win. And they're very much like us, good but mistake and emotion prone and CAN be better than the record indicates. 

I don't think that's the case for Temple and Charlotte

Therefore I think this is a key game and interesting challenge in our bowl aspirations. 

I think we WILL win and continue our March to a bowl game this year.

Back in the BE days uconn had some solid teams, but they fell off a cliff when they joined the aac. It is going to be interesting to see in the next 5 years if going independent was a better move to get into a power conference or not.
