Guessing alot of students just sat in shade. Still turnout for them probably wasn't great.

Yep. Had one dropped off at the end of the row in front of us to cool off in the shade. Unfortunately, she was then left alone to toss up everything she ate and drank and pass out in her chair.

We had to use the text number to get some paramedics to come over and assist her.

I feel like this horse has been beaten to death

We need an OCS and a winning product.

Both are being addressed, thankfully.

It needs a few more whacks around here I'm afraid.

Ok second thought, it happening now so maybe we could leave the horse alone.

Why are we surprised at low attendance?  Our conference and team are regulary disparaged as being inferior and undeserving.  Sometimes it's us old-timers doing the belittling.

I was talking to a friend today who has a daughter at usf and she said that the students and Greeks have been organizing car pools to go up to Gainesville or Orlando for the games because of the vibe and party atmosphere. They also have famous DJs and music artists playing the tailgate lots. Hard for USF to compete with that at the  level of football that the school plays in. Where I live in South Carolina, the students of the citadel and Charleston Southern go to the USC and Clemson games on the weekend. Those smaller schools still get 5-10k through the turnstiles and they are happy with that. I just think that's the reality of where we are until we can regularly play big time ranked opponents at home and generate an atmosphere that can compete. Until then, I expect weekly threads complaining about attendance.

Gotta wonder how the stadium would look if the people in the west club were at their seats.

Attend a Bucs game and you'll see how it looks.

I mean those places are way closer to campus than Ray Jay and we all know distance is the issue

The vibe is because minor league sports are not events, it doesn’t matter where you play them being in the minors is the problem
