haven't been greeted or sent any items. I may sound old school but seriously a simple quick call from a rep to say hello and thanks for joining would be nice. The swag bag would be nice too but apparently you need to call and get on them.

So far not impressed at all, the engagement from them is minimal to say the least.

This is what was so shocking to me, and I wouldn't say you're sounding old school either. Definitely not good for getting donors to get others to sign up!

I have been very hard on Fowler Ave for not responding to emails.  Having said that, I received a personal email from Corey Staniscia today apologizing and answering my questions.  He mentioned that 94% of funds go towards the athletes and $1.5 million has been given to athletes so far.  I appreciated the gesture.  I realize it's only a start but I will contribute $10/month to see how things go and re-assess.  I feel like Fowler Ave needs more help to service contributors but I felt like Corey made things right and is trying.  Take it for what it's worth but I wanted to share my experience today.

Correction: 92% of the funds go to athletes.

Corey also mentioned that rules have loosened and coaches are becoming more involved so hopefully that leads to more events.

Didn't they hire former USF employee Nucc (Antonucci)?

Does that jibe with the tweet by Baker?

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
