I noticed this as well. Not much crowd involvement outside big play cheering. The students tried to get the wave going but it sputtered out after a few sections. The concessions and restrooms also seemed empty for what was a pretty good turnout.

I get it from a student perspective.  The wave is something legendary you hear about, but want to experience in real life.

The number announced now is all tickets distributed whether sold, comped, groups, etc.  This means anyone who has a document that would get them access into the stadium whether they show up or not.  I have to say there must have been a couple thousand people in the west club for the entire third quarter.

I was on the East side for a bit as I won HOF tix from a USF Auction. I can’t believe how empty that club was compared to the west side.

Turnout was great but must have been a lot of newbies there because times when FAMU were down at that end, at the goal line, they weren't doing much of anything noise wise....

And those who are always there - so frustrating

Nobody knows how to get loud, they would say "Get loud bulls" on the jumbotron and nobody would do anything. They need to have the noise meter to get people loud i think.

They only got loud for the free t-shirts.

Maybe restrooms were empty because no one was getting concessions and maybe no one was getting concessions because they are obscenely expensive.

Can’t disagree with that logic. I guess $18 for a headache inducing beer is the line in the sand for most.

It might have. Seemed like after the first round of tshirts they couldn’t get it reloaded/to shoot again.

Yea I think there is probably a positive correlation with buying tacos, mixing that with beer and hot dogs, and restroom use.
