Not sure but if USF has any chance they better be able to make some defensive stops. Hopefully the new coaching staff brings back the old school South Florida defense. If that happens then USF is going to a bowl game.

Maybe alot are picking USF to cover and adjusting the number down?

I got a spy report that Bull Matrix was in Vegas to place a bet on USF getting into the ACC and did a parlay on USF covering.  All of that money on the USF side made the sports book have to adjust the line.

My money is actually on the offense struggling this game more than the D. If we lose I say we lose something like 27 to 17 because the offense sputters and struggles with the new pace and technicalities

Something dramatic happened around 1:03 pm on August 21 that caused the lines at all books to move by 2 points. If it was a big bet on USF, it was likely made a Caesar's Sportsbook, as they were the first to adjust the line from -13 to -11. It would take a significant amount of money to move the line 2 full points or a lot of the sharps quickly threw their money at USF on a random Monday (unlikely). Alternatively,  it may have been a significant injury or an academically ineligible player, but finding updates on WKU football is not easy. There really is nothing out there that is publicly available.

This is unlikely to have happened with an across the books 2 point swing. These types of adjustments are usually more incremental as the bets come in.

WKU has had to rebuild their defense. I think we’ll be able to score. If our defense learned how to make open field tackles then I’ll feel even better about this game.
