A few of us are rolling in from Nashville.  BE AWARE that Tennessee plays Virgina at Nissan Stadium at 11am CT.  Lots of traffic and lots of Orange will be in town.  If you're heading out around 10:30 to 12:00, I'm guessing it will be best to take 65N to avoid the stadium traffic.

@WadeAllen if you're back on here, please see our parking questions above and thank you.

GO BULLS!

Refer to the tailgate map for the areas discussed below.

If you are not looking to tailgate and just want to park and be somewhat close to everything, I would go ahead and pay to park in Parking Structure 1 (PS1 on the map).  I don't park there, but it appears to only be $10.  You will be a short walk to the stadium and will pass by the student center, and a few of the public areas.  Now, for some reason, most visiting fans seem to gravitate towards the Creason Lot.  You will probably find many of your fans there.  It is paved and not really a long walk.  I should be free.  But the area is generic and will be hot as snot in the midday sun.  The PS1 will be covered.  If you want to see the real / older part of campus I would recommend a walk up the hill and work your way towards the inside of campus at the top of the hill.

Beer is sold inside the stadium.  Not really an on-campus bar or a bar within walking distance that I would recommend.  Most are a little further away, but probably could find something if in a pinch. Hell, someone will give you a drink if you just ask nicely...  Downtown Bolling green is a nice little area and will have a bar or two.

Doubt there will be much of a crowd give long weekend and the heat will keep the drive by fans away.  As such, you should be able to move seats easily.  If you are sitting on the lower section where they throw the visitor fans, you will be in direct line of the sun.  The sun and heat will be Brual.  However, on the lower level, you can move up near the concourse and a few of the rows will be in the shade.  I would hit that ASAP.

Someone is staying at the Hyatt I think....  I will be an easy walk - but remember - we are called hilltoppers for a reason, so it isn't exactly flat..  You will be close to the top of the hill, so a short walk to the center of campus toward College Street might be worth it and then down the middle to where the stadium.  It would be a little out of the way - but a good way to see the area.  If you do it right, you will see the old football stadium bleachers and Collonade that now looks over the fine arts building and library.

Enjoy your time.  It really is a beautiful campus, especially if you have time to explore up the hill and around the Cherry Hall and work your way down the middle of campus and side away from the stadium.

.... let me know if I missed anything.

Cheers my fellow fans
