Appreciate! thank ALL FOR the well wishes All will try to follow better now. I had a stroke and was on ventilator for about a week Pyralisis on left side- reason my typing is bad. After a week they put in a traech and should be arranged to slowly change to normal  rehab is going great

That X-ray brings back memories. Had my first done in '04. Just keep following the Drs and therapist's orders.

Keeping the protocols of not crossing the leg and keeping the 90 Degrees at most. 
 

keeping the foot straight from the stroke is tough along with the habit of hooking my effective leg to move it.

it was “good” my effective leg from stroke was the hip I feel on …

Therapy has been going great! Getting confidence in putting weight on the left side. 
Just the time to heal … the bone of course and didn’t realize they have to cut the muscle.

From my stroke my leg didn’t have much meat/muscle there and can feel the implant.

Won’t set off alarm in airport security.

Really?  What material did they use? I have to go thru that airport scanner where you put your hands over your head every time. Can't even get thru the Yuengling Center scanners without beeping.

Don't know the material.

Got back home Saturday to watch the game.

Therapy afterwards was great!

Therapist came to my home for evaluation and expects me back on the quad-cane in a few weeks. The broken hip may not set me back as far as I feared, but won't be going to any football games this season 😢
