That would make more sense. The worse thing would be to see the renderings and then have politics not approve it lol

That's kinda my feeling as well. Jives with the timeline I've been feeling for a little while now. It would be terrible to put out the renders and show off what we're gonna build, just to have the BoG deny the debt issuance and we're left with nothing. This way, they get it approved just ahead of opening weekend, then we can go on the PR tour with the renderings during the early season excitement.

They should totally tweet out the stadium version of this tweet after the BOG approval just to drive the fans crazy

“Who’s ready to see the USF stadium renders?”

then 3 weeks of radio silence on it as twitter fans get pissed off. Then during the Alabama game on national TV Michael Kelly joins the booth right after kickoff and they show the renders on TV along with the jumbotron as he hypes them up.

Seems that, despite the worries shared by @Brad, quite a few people have analyzed and signed off on USF's ability to pay the debt on the stadium.
