Right, but we're not talking about random geological mishaps, but we can.

Yes and even the "best info" changes, that's it Trip.  No different than if interest rates went to Carter level highs.  14-18%.  I guarantee you, that stadium would be off.  

I'm not blaming anyone at all, and it's like you're in defense mode again. I'm just saying the world around us has an impact and so far that impact has NOT been a helpful one.

That is whee we disagree.  The world has changed around us, and it very clearly is changing for the better.  Or, to use a more visual description . . .

I understand that we don't need a tweet or a statement to know that things are probably going on behind the scenes as we are speaking, but I think it would be reassuring in my opinion if Kelly came out and said that the OCS is still happening,  and that the scale of the project is still the same as a week ago.

I'm really not in defense mode ...... yet. I just don't see why anything that's happened so far would negatively affect us that much .... and, just as importantly, not sure what could realistically happen in the near future that could either. Now if there's some unrelated to college football economic stuff that could paint a different picture (why have to bring poor Jimmy into this??), you got me there ...

The negative part of what happened in the last week is that us joining the Big 12 at this point has become extremely unlikely.  I know some people might see that as a positive, but I am not one of them.

At the same time other opportunities may open up because of it.

So its hard to say whether what happened in the last week will be a positive or a negative for us.

Pac can't raid the MWC. They can't afford it! The 23M Apple deal is not going to be 23M for 4 schools and whoever they bring in. They are screwed.
