As evidenced earlier, I'm not real sure how the financing of something like this goes but assume they had to show revenue projections to secure a loan of that magnitude ..... and wouldn't think those projections would be based on where we be might conference wise in the future, but where we are now.

And maybe that line of thinking on my part is totally whacked.

Based on projections of attendance.  But anything can change including the dissolution of the AAC and ourselves in the MAC, Big Ten or an in independent.  Losing streaks and winning records....   A long timeline ahead, look at the counter.

The AAC I don't think would cease to exist. However we could lose teams like SMU, Memphis, UTSA, and Tulane. And if these teams are being targeted; we have to make sure that this time that we aren't left behind.

Well yeah ..... but don't you make informed decisions based the best info at the time? It's Florida ... a giant sinkhole could open and swallow that whole USF Athletic district at any time and then where'd we be?

Could you imagine? We seriously had the upper hand vs these schools only for us to be worried. You should ass FAU with Herman to that list. I am very much concerned. Goach has to pull a rabbit out of the hat this season.

I haven't seen these guys mentioned much in realignment. Maybe Tulane but i still can't imagine they are going anywhere. Especially, with no where to go now unless a merger type deal happens.

There is some talk ( granted its mostly internet talk by god knows who) that the Mountain West would take this opportunity to add AAC teams so that they can become the best of the rest conference. Tulane in Louisiana is right next to Texas so that would make sense if they go East ward.

The AAC has the better tv deal than MWC. It will be AAC probably taking what is left over after the PAC raids MWC

That would presume that they foresaw all of this shuffling of teams between conferences. I seriously doubt that.
