I think mass transit would help more for the MLB season or NHL/NBA season. For college football many fans tailgate and make it a whole weekend out of it whether they are flying or driving. RVs galore will become the norm for USF OCS. Im thinking of getting one so that I can camp out Friday - Sunday for USF games.

I think that both Houston and Minnesota have their cities Mass Transit rail lines actually connected to their OCS.

Pretty sure when we went to a game at Houston that we parked and had a 10 minute bus ride to get anywhere near the stadium. Have no idea if mass transit was available. And @Friscobull yes that was the end of USF football when we did the shots at the tailgate.

I made that trip to Houston where CCS basically mailed it in for the season. Took the short rail transit back to downtown Houston. It was free on weekends. However we had some crazy homeless peep that was covered in crap. He ended up being a regular as passengers told us to ignore him. He wore some kind of Jedi outfit and then all Id sudden jumped out and thought he was going to use the force to stop the rail train. Crazy memories after the terrible loss in Houston lol

I told Frisco that wasn't cool to do that. 😁

I wonder if that's another way to generate revenue for the stadium. Propose running the Bull Runner from key points around the area

On the transit topic, there is a pretty huge parking lot shuttle system a mile away at Busch Gardens…wonder if it would be feasible to get them to let us use their overflow lots and shuttles on game days.

they regularly move thousands of people pretty efficiently

Bummer.  I was expecting to see the Build a Freakin Stadium Already Committee listed there.

Most of the stadiums that I have been to does this for free. We’ve also walked a mile or so. The problem isn’t getting to the game, it’s getting out.

I’m thinking they won’t have it on the agenda until early 2024.
