Populous designed McLane, so I’m hoping that we get something similar to it.

This is why GB transferred here. It all makes sense now. He is helping design the stadium.

Lol GB did say that USF is doing amazing things when he announced he is transferring to USF.

Maybe Chip and Joanna Gaines to bring some of their Waco magic to our fixer-upper project.

Interesting.  Any USF OCS plan that does not actively provide for regional transportation improvements would, in my opinion, be misfeasance.

The MOVES Plan to be released Tuesday estimates $2 billion in needs to achieve the city’s transportation vision.

Mass transit is a good investment if done right, but I don’t see how that causes the stadium to be a failure if it doesn’t happen.

The stadium can/will be a success without an investment in mass transit.

On campus stadium is supposed to provide:

1. Ease of access for students to get to the game

2. a college game day atmosphere

3. Money to the university from parking fees, concessions, and merch sales.

Agree.  The Bucs and Tampa sports authority can pitch in for stuff like that.

I think it wouldn’t just be those entities pitching in. I think there would be corporations/groups across all of Tampa.

Good, accessible mass transit helps lower income communities and should in theory put less cars on the roads.

Absolutely not.  I have said it before but something like this should be planned, designed, financed and built with the involvement of a broader community, intergovernmental and private investor base as part of a more comprehensive regional infrastructure, transportation, entertainment and community events hub providing a broader regional benefit than just an on-campus football stadium.  Instead of just reacting to impact of such a project, they should use it to create positive synergy for a better community.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
