What comes first? Renderings or our notice to  vacate our lease at RayJay?

Probably renderings. I do not think we are dumb enough to get out of any lease until the stadium is near completion. But I also thought school administration and athletic department were smarter than several of the question decisions they have made in the last few years.

I think we’re supposed to give 2 years notice. Since construction is supposed to take 2 years, just curious.

Possibly ? I'd be shocked if the stadium is ready for 2026. I am thinking  based on the timeline and progress  is atleast 27/28 .  We are building the Taj Mahal of football stadiums with state of  the art  features. I think a stadium this glorious take time to plan and build .

I don't pretend to know more than those with experience and are in charge of making it happen. And per the contract, with stipulations, they'll pay USF $2mil for every game that the stadium is not ready for kickoff 2026.

Neither am I but the athletic department told us we are building something special and state of the art. From ground breaking of the stadium and being to ready to playing three seasons is very fast considered it hasn't been approved yet officially with designs and construction contracts. and it is going to be rushed  is it going to be the crown jewel or the next ucf stadium erector set style of college football stadiums ?

It's likely being approved next month. Initial construction work is set to begin in October (whether you believe that's initial site work or moving rec fields to the other side of campus, October is the alleged timeline). Taking 2+ years to build it is not "rushing it". Zero chance they include the language about the builder paying out for every game not played in the stadium beginning in 2026 unless the builder is reasonably confident it will be built by then.

SDSU stadium - Ground was broken on August 17, 2020, and the stadium opened two years later in 2022 for an Aztecs scrimmage on August 20. Its first game was two weeks later on September 3, 2022

So two years is possible then. Is this considered a state of the art stadium?  I thought this was the stadium that has no shade and people passing out at because if heat exhaustion .
