Does anyone know if the religious buildings on Sycamore are owned by USF or the religious orgs?   That land would br perfect for new dorms with retail on the bottom.  Would be so fun before and after games

The buildings are owned and paid for by the religious organizations.  They are "leasing" the land.

I think the plans have been to move the Greeks behind  the baseball/softball complex.  They would look nice down there as their is some good tree canopy

There are no plans to move the Greeks there.  That was the original location before the current Greek Village was built by USF.  No fraternities and only a few sororities were able to raise the initial round of money as deposit, so plans for that location were scrapped.

Not entirely of course, but the 2009 schedule was definitely more attractive from a traveling fanbase perspective and local fringe fan interest ....

I think the Big East  had the best schedules to travel and watch good USF football. It was just not we were winning more but the teams were also better.  I still would take any power conference over the new AAC, but we have to win on the field to create interest.

What if we just call AAC part of the P6?

They already tried that and failed  to gain any real traction. I thought the commissioner said they would not be using power6 anymore. IF They want to make the conference into more of a meme or joke they could keep the power6 back to life.

We shall see who ends up as one of the top 6 conferences stating in 2024. So basically we can only use P5 for one more season before we start using P6..

Cant do that anymore when you lose teams like Cincy, UCF, Houston, and probably SMU ( though haven't seen any updates on the rumors of them going to PAC). And really teams like Charlotte, Rice, and North Texas don't do anything to increase the  AAC reputation as a top notch conference.

Really think we should have added teams like Appalachian State, Toledo, Marshall, and Army since those teams would have brought better football to the conference. The AAC decided to focus on bringing in teams from Texas or from big metropolitan areas instead of focusing on quality. I think that was the wrong decision. Don't know why we needed 3 teams from Texas.
