Raleigh NC was a fun road trip. Hopefully USF gets into the ACC so I can do that trip again.

Yup, have enjoyed where Barney goes to party a few times.  We still have Greenville and have added Charlotte to our NC rotation if that helps in the meantime (although I know it doesn't).

Charlotte was a fun trip too even though USF lost their first bowl game in history to NCST. We have some history with the Wolfpack.

In the doc for the board of trustees meeting that sparked this thread page 90 literally shows the 2 design options they are shooting for:

1.) Hybrid of Houston's stadium and Colorado State's stadium. This is estimated to cost $200 million.

2.) Hybrid of SDSU and Colorado State's stadium. This is estimated to cost $300 million.

The builder/design firm we went with is Populous AND Barton Malow. Populous is the architect behind Colorado State's stadium so not sure where you are getting the idea that our's won't look anything like that. Also San Diego State's stadium is literally the exact size we've heard for ours: 35k

Ok, we’ll see! It’s  it worth arguing over.  Just glad it’s happening.

Lol I said that I do believe USF has a better chance at getting into the ACC than we do the big 12. I also said I do believe that FSU & Clemson will leave the ACC if they can figure out a way. That should open the door for USF & UConn.

I’m not sure UConn would leave the Big East for the ACC.  It won’t be just FSU and Clemson leaving.  The only leftovers would likely be Wake, BC, Syracuse.

NOBODY in the G5 will turn down ANY offer from the P5. 2¢

They would be foolish to turn down big money.

Nah I think people are puttting too much faith in the big 12. ACC will be a more desirable destination for USF and other schools around the  east.

I wonder if the OCS will work out a deal to have Varsity set up shop… Or will it be  a Portillo’s ?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
