That's where we stayed as well. We were in a day early so we did amble about the campus and did hit a few restaurants during our time there. However, there are a handful of Robinsons that attended NCSU, so there have been multiple trips over the years. I remember being sopping wet marching back to the hotel after the game. Love the stadium and really love the idea of walking there from the hotel. You know, the Carolina Hurricanes play adjacent to Carter-Finley Stadium, so if you're ever up that way when the Lightning are playing...

I went to the last game at Carter-Finley, stayed in the hotel and walked to my seats, even though I was battling heart issues.  Then the game ripped my heart out and fixed that.  Didn't keep me from enjoying local BBQ, however.

Yup! That is the same wet game that went to lol. Fun game as USF dominated NCSU. I remember getting back to the hotel after the game only to see & hear older NCSU fans cry and say they couldn’t believe how bad they got beat.

Raleigh NC was a fun road trip. Hopefully USF gets into the ACC so I can do that trip again

Lol I said that I do believe USF has a better chance at getting into the ACC than we do the big 12. I also said I do believe that FSU & Clemson will leave the ACC if they can figure out a way. That should open the door for USF & UConn.

When people ask me if I like KC BBQ, Texas BBQ, Memphis BBQ, Alabama BBQ, Georgia BBQ, or Carolina BBQ, etc., etc., my answer is always the same:  YES!

Yes!  I’m the same way. I like a lot of different BBQ’s.
