Important OCS Update

Just listened to bulls unlimited this morning and MK said that there will be an update on the OCS at the next BoT meeting the first week of December, which looks like 12/5.

The more they delay, the more time goes by for more Oracle articles to be printed about how we really shouldn't do the project, etc.  And the more chances there are of some event happening that would put the project on "pause."  I can't speak for the rest of the USF fanbase, but I have this continuous fear of being "charlie-brown footballed" when it comes to any topic where I get my hopes up about USF sports.  So seeing real progress (like ground breaking) is the only thing that keeps me from dreaming up theories on how/why it may not happen.

There has been more activity around the maintenance around the track/intramural fields the past couple of days. I'm not sure if this is the beginning of their relocation or not, but let's keep our fingers crossed.

So VPMK or anyone else at USF makes a statement about the OCS and then something changes. Then we have every social media hack in the world typing crap about how they can’t even get ________ right.

ALL the major hurdles have been cleared. We’ll know renderings are coming when the press conference is scheduled.

I haven't listened to Bulls Unlimited but I strongly suspect the "update" will be a release of renderings. 

The loan closed a few weeks ago. They're on a clock. I don't see anything getting "paused."

Is this loan more like a line of credit where you don't pay any interest until you start to use the funds or have we already started paying interest from the day of the closing?  I was in marketing, not finance.

I don't know, I'm assuming they're going to take out money ASAP to move the rec fields and finalize design.
