We need to build something the size of The Big House and Beaver Stadium NOW....I saw in a documentary about ghosts playing baseball in a cornfield that "if you build it, they will come." The people will come, Brad, the people will come.

IF the B1G comes calling with their $80M annual payouts, then you take the expansion plans and add them to the new plans and go back to the state and say let us finance more debt to get this done now and we'll pay it off in 5 years.

No problem.  We play at RayJay through 2025 season and immediately change the OCS to add 20,000 more seats in time for 2026.  If we get invited in 2026 we play Big Ten games at RayJay until we can get the additional seats added.

I can't believe we are demanding expansion when we can't even fill the lower bowl of RJS. Get it built. Get the revenue to cover it. Get the conference invite. Then we worry about stadium expansion. At this point, "capable of expanding" and "know how we'll expand when necessary" mean that it's been thought about and included in the design. There is no world where USF should be building a larger stadium at this point. Sell out 35k for a few seasons, oversubscribe the season ticket allotments, put some opponents on the schedule that travel well and will demand more tickets, get our revenue in order - then expand (and have renderings done for the announcement).
