The ingredients were in place prior to the 2017 season.

We literally sent out a survey that concluded an OCS could be built.

It took 6 years and we are finally getting an ocs.  If that doesn't get students in the stands then I don't know what else will besides beating top 25 teams again and getting out of the aac. Hopefully Golesh is successful and winning at usf when the ocs opens.

Relax.  I've been assured it is the cure for all our ills, real and imagined.

What lie are you talking about?

The Big XII literally said we'd be a more attractive candidate for expansion back in 2017 if we had an OCS.

People forget this.

There goes PUC spewing things he knows nothing about. If you took 1/2 of your passion that you have that is against our university you could be a positive force for USF.

Show me anywhere that is documented at all

I know I have posted this here before, but I will post it again.

Scott Kull, who came from TCU, was here in 2017 and literally told me about the conversations USF had been in with the Big XII. Their biggest issue with USF was lack of revenue coming in from playing at RJS and that we'd be a more attractive candidate if we had an OCS. This is what prompted the OCS survey that went out later that year.

You can believe whatever you'd like. I know what I was told and I have absolutely no reason to lie about this.

Objection: Spoken word is seldom documented.  Lack of documentation does not make it not so.

Well now it is documented - thank you John.  Must be true now.

Sadly, it seems their criteria for additions has changed a lot.  Continual moving of the goal posts for us.  Still, that issue will be resolved in 2026.

No one forgets it, it’s entirely made up. What all was on the list? How to was it forced ranked and how does that compare to the other teams we would be competing against? Even John said before that Alabama would never be coming to our OCS like they are this coming week, so how would big teams like playing somewhere less but a conference value handicapping yourself for no explicable reason?

Why not try it anyway? It worked as promised for men's basketball and baseball, didn't it?

Really, though, I'm mostly just ribbing.  I am glad many folks are excited by OCS, which I think is fine considering it as an overall university amenity.  Just don't buy into the delusion, that I have heard and read, that it is a certain ticket to success and a better conference.

Like a 12 year old who just talks louder when he is clearly wrong.
