Yeah I don’t think the timing was a coincidence…but not sure if it was a sign of strength or desperation. We will know soon.

Things can always change, but yes.  Oil prices fluctuate wildly all the time.  And we are producing more oil in the United States than we ever have.  Meanwhile our cars get less reliant on oil every year.  So yeah.

Odd that they would be draining the strategic oil reserves with all of that supply. I’m sure it’ll also be fine when the govt needs to become an oil buyer to refill it. Let’s check back on these predictions in a few months.
