I have a bad feeling that they will play politics. But I believe Brian Lamb is the head so that hopefully works well for USF

I took a glance at the BOG members and only see one USF person.  Do we need a simple majority on the vote?   Do we have to pull a SMU here, i.e., buy our way in? LOL

Well that is not good lol. Let’s say they vote this down. Are there other ways to move forward with the OCS?

That's what I wondered too!  We have to raise the money first maybe versus as is now with financing secured.

On the other hand, if they deny USF this, how can they permit FSU's and UF's proposed stadium renovations?

Great point. We have been seeing the media narrative being pro FSU & UF with their renovations due to their P5 status & support. We have been seeing the media take a negative stance regarding USF OCS due to our current down situation I guess

Easy, they have top tier football programs which makes investment in infrastructure low risk. For USF, we are following a version of the saying “dress for the job you want, not the job you have” which makes it much more speculative.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
