I really hope it doesn’t take that long to turn USF around, took him 4 years to turn that team around in a low level conference . I think he was on the hot seat if he didn’t do well this year. I just don’t think this is a good hire, really hope he works out but seems like we’re in the same boat, doesn’t seem like a step up from Gregory. This AD should have a better plan before he fires  coaches.

I can't even imagine what this board would be like if we won 26 games in a season.

We cannot afford another slow rebuilt. Even Stetson had 17 wins in that conference this year, so based on 1 year in the A sun its hard to judge how good he is. All I know out of the 4 seasons he coached there he had 3 losing seasons, with 1 win in his first year, and 5 wins in his second.

I feel like Kelly was going to hire anyone who replied to his text messages at this point.  It was last-call and he took home the last remaining woman at the bar, unfortunately, we can't all wear beer-goggles to every game.... Hope it works out....

This is the coach USF needs.  Kelly wasn't fast enough for you, but he did this one RIGHT.

I agree we been losing for so long, if your a fan like me and watch every game even when they are losing its hard. hire someone that is establish with a winning career record and with a history of winning and being successful. Your going to have to come out of pocket and pay them 2 to 3 million and sell them to come here. 
 

I really hope he is successful, but winning one game in his first year that’s pretty bad. Was he not able to retain players when he came in?
