It’s because we’ve sucked at pretty much every sport lately. We’ve been told things will improve only to see them get worse.

Agreed! Nothing to lose then. What we’ve been doing hasn’t worked so this seems like a change. We will see. Hope it works out and I’m willing to wait.

I know nothing about this guy other than his being hired won't make me buy season tickets next year. Brey would have, maybe the younger Pitino. Would love to have a name I recognize coaching the Bulls.

An actual change would have been ponying up the cash for a proven commodity. Our last three hires have been retreads or prayers. This is a prayer. We hired a guy with 4 years of head coaching experience at what amounts to an FCS school. Yep, definitely moving in the right direction, but, we're still talking about 4 years and 1 with a winning record. This is exactly on brand for USF. 

CAAR might have a statue outside of the Dome one day. I don't know enough about MBB to have an opinion other than a shrug and a yawn. I'm a casual fan and this guy doesn't even help me find the needle, let alone, move the needle. That's not a diss. It is what it is. I had season tickets years ago and he's going to have crush it out of the gates to get me back there again.

Man I can’t disagree with what you said. I wish i could but in reality I can’t right now. AAC competition is stronger than the ASUN competition. I’m sorry but can’t get excited about the wins over Lipscomb especially when I see blow out loses to a terrible UF team and about a 40pt loss to SDSU. Maybe they see something that we don’t right now. The reality is it is harder to get up off the mat in the AAC than it is the ASUN. Hopefully we are proven wrong
