we all hope you are right. We shall see. I will say I hate both hires, but hate basketball 20x's more. Feel like we considerably downgraded. Should have just kept BG.

At which point I hope it will no longer be Kelly making these decisions . In fact I am now to the point where I no longer have faith in him. This hiring cycle with the Brey and Odom whiffs was a disaster

I hope this coaching hire will grow on me a little bit like the Golesh hire did to a certain extent, but I can't help but feel that with more realignment on the horizon we are taking unnecessary risks. Getting wins this year is the only thing that might cure this feeling

Kind of a ridiculous question, though. If they weren't, CBG and CJS would still be here. You can be committed to winning but just be bad at doing it. Right now MK is 0 for 1 on major hires and will be interesting to see how it plays out down the line if it gets to 0 for 3 ....
