That’s a ******* travesty.  Not to start the discussion again, but it’s a ******* travesty.

Not really sure why you consider that a travesty when you compare the hoops histories but I guess we’ll not start the discussion again ….

Lol you remember our Metro Conference days with the rivalry with VCU. I believe FSU was part of it at some point too

That makes sense then, I guess …… so is it the same travesty when comparing the USF job to Georgetown’s, Gonzaga’s and St John’s? …… Or is the Sun Belt connection driving the travestizing ….?

Only one side of the comparison is a travesty.  But we won’t go there.

VCU over USF basketball is a more attractive position. Over the last half century, USF has a 44%-win rate (and since 44 is less than 51, that would constitute losing). VCU, on the other hand, over the past half century has a 65%-win rate. Over the past five decades, VCU has gone to the NCAA Tournament nineteen times, whereas USF has only gone three times. Considerably different results over the years. Can't see how one would think coaching hoops at VCU is not more desirable/attractive than at U of SF. 😎

And let’s be honest. I don’t think we need a coach that is not confident in making USF a winner. We need coaches with big egos at USF. So with that said. Hopefully when Ryan Odom is named the USF coach this weekend that he is very confident that he will turn USF into a winner. And when he does hopefully USF is ready for it.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
