Interesting. We need more high level donors from the fans who have the end zone passion.

Fans who have end zone passion aren't old enough (in general) to have the income necessary to be high level donors.

High level donors tend to be well enough into their careers they have the disposable income to do so.

This is the view from Snapdragon Stadium's new field level club seats. Section C130 row 4, not a bad view at all

Sideline seats like this would make a lot more sense than end-zone club or "loge suites" (like they have at AT&T Stadium in Dallas).

I guess. In my opinion, no matter how much money I have that is never going to change my extreme passion for USF. There is absolutely no reason why somebody with a lot of money can’t be wild and crazy for our school.

An article in the TBT this morning says there is a $14.8 million design build agreement. Talks about wanting 5 levels including field, main concourse, club level, suite level and one for the press along with "premium areas" unique to USF.  Still talking about 35k seats.

Also, 14 - 16 months of pre-construction and 20 - 24 of construction.

Here's the article for anyone who wants to read it.

Here’s what’s in the 55,000-word deal between USF and the design-build team.

Thank you for sharing. Really the piece about the overall design is the only new information. It does say that the performance center IS part of the build. So for those questioning a $300-$400MM budget, that cost will include the performance center. For those keeping track at home, UF's football performance center cost $85MM. So, discount the total cost of the project by say $25-$50MM to factor in our performance center and you get a more true "cost of the stadium".

EDIT: that picture above is new to me - looks like what John mentioned with N-S orientation and a great entrance/walkway to the stadium. Hopefully that can turn into a nice tailgating area.

Noticed at the spring game holding covers up to signal plays. If they play as fast as they’re supposed to that might be a problem for the lower seats.

That is great news. 35k is perfect for now errr 2026. History lesson to all you kiddos. Does anyone remember how small Gainesville OCS was when they first started?? Give you a hint they didn’t have endzone seating

True... but most of the people with significant money graduated from USF well before the first kickoff.

And that may happen to you - as  you get older you may temper the expression of your passion.  I know my back won't let me stand for an entire game like I did for WVU back in Ought 7.

I’m almost 50 now. There was no team when I went there. I have always been a sports nut. Can’t see that changing. But age is no friend to the body so that I do understand

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
